About

Background

I am a Data Science and Business Analytics professional with a strong foundation in mathematical analysis. I hold a master’s degree in Functional Analysis, with academic training in fixed-point theory and rigorous proof-based reasoning. This background shaped a disciplined approach to problem-solving and a comfort working within complex systems.
Rather than treating data as isolated observations, I focus on uncovering the underlying structure that governs patterns, trends, and outcomes.

Teaching & Communication

Before transitioning into applied analytics, I served as a Mathematics Instructor at Samara University (Afar, Ethiopia). Teaching refined my ability to translate abstract and technically demanding concepts into clear, structured explanations.
This experience strengthened my capacity to:

  • Explain complex ideas with clarity

  • Structure analytical thinking logically

  • Communicate effectively with diverse and non-technical audiences

These skills now guide how I present analytical insights, ensuring that technical rigor and practical understanding remain aligned.

My work sits at the intersection of mathematical rigor and real-world decision-making. I work primarily with:

  • Tableau and Excel for exploratory analysis and clear visual storytelling

Professional Journey
 
After immigrating to the United States, adapting to a new academic and professional environment, and balancing family responsibilities, I returned to formal study and applied analytics with renewed focus. This journey strengthened my resilience, adaptability, and ability to operate effectively in changing and uncertain conditions.
These experiences inform how I approach complex analytical problems, with persistence, structure, and long-term perspective.
